Rhys Votano - Moving Image Artist

The Weight of Light is a series of works utilising a duration distortion technique created by Rhys Votano in 2013 whereby various time spans are layered to reflect the nature of light and time.

Each work investigates the relationship between light and our presence in the world.

This repetition is echoed through the resonating sound design, repeating and adding new sounds to build an audio pattern that moves from chaos and dullness and harmony.
